Thank you for your interest in our new private club on the pristine and tranquil waters of Armstrong creek in the northern foothills of the Appalachian Mountains.

Armstrong creek has been home to the longest and oldest operating private fishing clubs in the state which is located just one mile from here.

We have strictly managed the property for 4 years now and have a variety of wild rainbow, brown and brook trout, with hatchery supported varieties as well. Our fish range up to 10 lbs in size, which can make for some of the best fly fishing anywhere in the state.

Armstrong Creek Outfitters is individually and privately owned by one person, who has fished this creek for over 30 years. I want to preserve its pristine beauty and wonderful fishing for our kids and their kids as well.

We have a secluded cabin on the property for your use as a member that is fully equipped with cooking facilities such as a gas grill, charcoal smoker, oven and a cast iron frying griddle for those bacon and eggs in the morning. Or you can have your meals catered for an additional charge. A menu will be provided in your membership packet.

You will also have use of our ATV’s for transport to and from the cabin. Custom made flies are available upon request. Fishing gear will be available on site if you need something or forget something. If you are interested in tying your own flies we will have a place set up for that as well. If you need a break from catching the big fish, there are many beautiful hiking trails nearby as well as beautiful scenery to photograph.

We are only granting a limited number of memberships to the first 10 members. With you membership fee you will also receive a free Trout Unlimited membership for 1 year.

With more and more people fishing every day, creek banks getting more and more littered wouldn’t it be nice to know you had a private place to cast a rod and catch a big fish with no others to bother you and no trash to walk upon. That’s what Armstrong Creek Outfitters wants to provide for you, your family and your guests.

Armstrong Creek Outfitters also offers a black bear hunting membership that includes the fishing.
